    Stanford University has named Johnny Dawkins as the Anne and Tony Joseph Director of Men's Basketball, as announced by Jaquish & Kenninger Director of Athletics Bob Bowlsby. Dawkins, 44, arrives on The Farm after completing his 11th year as a member of the Duke coaching staff. For the last nine seasons (2000-08), Dawkins served as the program's associate head coach.

    Brook Lopez Named Third Team AP All-American

    Sophomore Brook Lopez was named a third team All-American selection by the Associated Press earlier this afternoon, adding to his lengthy list of honors during the 2007-08 campaign. Lopez is the first Cardinal to earn All-America recognition since Josh Childress was recognized by multiple organizations in 2004. Meanwhile, head coach Trent Johnson has been named one of five finalists for the Clair Bee Award.
